Tiny is almost the perfect Harlequin Great Dane (he has very little gray on him) that came out of New York. I will not name the breeder because I don’t want anyone to deal what she put us though. If you looking at getting a Great Dane from central New York area it is only one breeder in the state email us the name of the breeder you are looking at if it is her we are willing tell you all about the problems we had. He has a very wide head and chest.

Tiny is a one of a kind Great Dane in that he still acts like a puppy even at his age, he is like a class clown he is only serious when he has to be.  He is a very amusing dog; everyone is just drawn to him.  Probably because of his size and just for the way he acts. Our veterinarian says it is refreshing to see a Great Dane that acts like him.   His favorite toy is a squeaky ball, or his Kong Wubba (or we like to call it is Wooby).

Tiny comes from the same blood line as Great Dane champion “Saravilla’s Lucky Man” (who is Tiny's great-great grandfather), breed by Dublin Danes.  A lot of Saravilla’s Danes are in Tiny’s pedigree so he has a very strong bloodline to produce very big, gentle puppies.

The only reason we cannot show him, and we wish that we could, is that we had to have his tail amputated due to him getting “happy tail”. Or he would be in the show ring right now.

We did have to have Tiny’s tail amputated because he got “happy tail”.  Happy Tail is when the dog's tail breaks open at the tip and causes an open wound that will not heal.  Basically the dog wags it so hard it cause the tail not to heal.  Our Veterinarian did try to do everything before taking his tail but he said that even if it did heal it would be more prone to breaking open again.  When the tail is in this condition it hurts the dog severally so that is why we decided to amputate his tail.  He does not mind it, he just has a stub to wag now.

Stud Services: We do stud out Tiny to other female Great Danes. We ask that the female come to our home. The reason for a female coming here is so the bitch is entering the male’s territory and is more willing to submit to Breeding. We charge a base fee based on the value of puppies. All bitches must have appropriate vaccinations. Puppies Sired by Tiny. If you have any further questions please email us at edwards@edwardsdanes.com . Click here for Stud Contract.
